Orientation Examination – Important Notice

This is to inform all students that, following concerns raised by those who were unable to sit for the Orientation Examination due to incomplete registration, resulting from delays in receiving official SCU results/offer letters or pending payment completion, an exception has been approved by the Head of Schools.

Accordingly, Orientation assignments completed using the student's NIC number will remain valid, and the marks obtained will be carried forward to the next immediate Orientation Examination sitting (November 2026 Intake), subject to the successful completion of the Foundation Program.

Important Conditions

  • Assignment marks will be transferred only to the November 2026 Intake Orientation Examination.
  • Students must complete the Foundation Program to be eligible for this concession.
  • Students who fail the Foundation Program will be required to repeat the Foundation module again.
  • Upon successful completion of the repeat Foundation module, students must retake the Orientation module in its entirety, including all required assignments and assessments.

This concession has been granted to assist students who were unable to complete the registration process due to the circumstances outlined above.
